Good To Go! Parties
Attendees have described the G2G! parties as “Death Tupperware Parties” or “Fete du Mort” shindigs. The way it works: You host a Good to Go! party at your home or chosen space. Invite your “soul cluster,” or close friends and family. Each guest brings a dish based upon a favorite recipe passed down from a departed loved one. (I love baking my mom or granny’s recipes, as it makes me feel closer to them. If you can’t cook or bake, you can buy/bring a dish that was inspired by a loved one, and of course, recipes from loved ones who are still with us is also perfectly acceptable.) Each person also brings booze! I joke that if we have to talk about the hard stuff, we need to drink the hard stuff! But I have also hosted alcohol-free Good To Go! Parties. Here at G2G!, we respect everyone’s journey. I have a death-themed rock and roll soundtrack for the party, and once we introduce everyone to each other, I pass out the G2G! “Departure File” that can also be used for In Case of Emergency (ICE) situations as well.
It is my honor and privilege to help guide you through your paperwork in a friendly, safe, open environment filled with good humor, love, laughter, fun music and great food.
Imagine the alternative: confronting these issues for the first time in an emergency situation in a hospital, when you least expect it, under traumatic circumstances. If you’ve lost someone close to you, you will know the overwhelming feeling of taking care of every detail. Why not take care of it today in a stress-free environment? Attendees leave the party with a very specific idea of what information is needed should something happen to them. Parties usually last up to 3 hours with breaks for food, drink and hugs.
Private Consultations
Some clients have asked that I visit their loved ones personally, rather in a party setting. Elderly parents/relatives/friends might not want to fill out their departure folders in such a public setting, or perhaps they are simply unable to leave their home due to health or mobility issues. I’m happy to meet with your loved ones privately in the comfort of their own home or chosen space.
Corporate Consultation
I believe businesses should provide this paperwork to every new employee!
If you are the owner of a business, Good To Go! will happily guide employees through our paperwork in conference rooms or corporate retreats.
Skype
If you are unable to attend a G2G! party, or if you prefer a meeting that is less personal than a one-on-one consultation, but intimate enough so that you feel comfortable, I will guide you through your Departure File via Skype. I will send you the necessary paperwork in advance and we will set an appointment to Skype when it is convenient for you. Please note that I am based in Los Angeles and on Pacific Standard Time.
Phone
I am also available to guide you through your Departure Folder by phone. I will send you the G2G! paperwork in advance and we will set up a convenient time to go through it over the phone.
I look forward to sharing this incredible, transformative experience with you!
